Making a rather noisy progress along a fenced path with the grandchildren this little dog on the other side of the fence, wanted to know what was going on, he found a little hole where the knot had fallen out of the wood, he presumably decided he could tell more by smell than sight.

A quick look and the nose looks like a little face!
