Loch an Eilean

We had a wonderful time today around Loch an Eilean, a four mile walk in the most beautiful surroundings. During the day we saw long tailed tits, a white wild orchid and a fabulous iridescent dragonfly as well as hearing the mewing of buzzards gliding on the thermals. Cara is such a water baby and I think she would have happily swum round the entire loch. This shot was taken at the end and I had put them both on the lead as there were several families with young people soaking up the atmosphere which was wonderful to see - but I didn't want their day spoiled by two happy, tired but very wet dogs!

We had timed things well as it is now pouring with rain and we have also seen a couple of streaks of lightening.
