Sandbanks Last Day

What a glorious weekend! Stunning weather, lazy beach days and good friends! So very relaxing on this king sized Caribbean style beach located in Prince Edward County wine country / south-eastern Ontario. The rain and wind came in a bit too early and we had to pack up a bit earlier than planned, but that was ok, we desperately needed the rain. There as been a 7 week fire ban in the campgrounds due to the stellar hot weather this summer, hopefully this rainfall will have that ban lifted soon. I really missed having evening campfires, however we were able to have one on the Friday night while we visited friends S&E at the Presquille Provincial Park campsite an hour away from us - don't know why but they were allowed fires. Sad to pack away the camping gear for another year
