Gloom

I checked the time of low tide and decided to head out early for the beach.  As I got closer the rain became steadily heavier and I thought this trip is going to be a disaster, but in the end there was a lull in the gloom long enough to take some shots of the water looking incredibly calm.  The black dots to the left were a group of Cormorants chilling out on the mud flats.
