Waffles

My friend rjevans6 died recently.  He was a prolific blipper, and his wife solaev21 has posted a beautiful tribute to him here.

All I can add is a small thing: waffles.

We spent a marvellous afternoon at their house one day, eating waffles until we could hardly move.  It was lovely.  And the next time we met Solveigh, she said that Richard had gone out and got us a waffle maker.  Not for any special reason.  Just because we'd loved theirs, and it wasn't expensive, and it was a small kindness for friends.

He was a kind, humorous, knowledgable, great person.
