No-one Is Looking

My Dear Fellow,

Just another work day passed without incident.

Well, I say that. I was in a phone meeting for over an hour with a surly third party company who threw every excuse imaginable at us for not doing things.

I am not having it. I can be surly myself.

Tonight is going to be difficult. Jasper is going under general anaesthetic tomorrow for his dental extractions. As a result he cannot eat from 7pm onward which was about an hour ago. And if he can't eat, Punky can't eat.

Consequently, I gave the boys THREE suppers, plus additional snacks when I got in tonight. I think that will hold Jasper, but not Punky. Punky is ALWAYS hungry. I can give him food and 10 minutes later he is scratching at the couch, looking forlorn and starving. It could be a long night.

Jasper goes to the vet at 10.15 tomorrow. At which point I shall hotfot it back to the flat to feed Punky who by that time will no doubt have faded away to nothing. He's such a drama.
