Woodpecker...

...I THINK it's a downy woodpecker--very unusual to see here, although I did see a few woodpeckers while I was up North. Maybe one of them followed me home, or hitched a ride, unbeknownst to me! At any rate, it's the first one I've ever seen around here. I happened to glance out the kitchen window this afternoon & saw a chipmunk up on my birdbath, taking a drink of water while a sparrow sat on the edge of the bath! So cute! 
I still have some things to catch up with, like going through the mail & doing laundry,  but will start catching up with journals tomorrow. Thanks so much for looking through my vacation pictures and leaving comments! So very nice of you all & much appreciated!   :))
