Granton

I've been thinking of fishing since we moved in here.  Granton pier is about Spiddal pier distance form here. 

On the way to Lidl I saw this and resolved to go back afterwards.  Walked out the length of the pier - it was a huge Mackerel party - definitely the most ethnically diverse party I've ever been to.  

I'll have to go down - but expect I put away the rod with tangled lines and dodgy reel, and the tackle is probably in the attic. Maybe in a couple of days.  I'll also need to learn the fishing-rod-on-a-bike-trick. 

I was also thinking there should be a 'Mackerel Are In' crowd-sourced type  app connected to tide times and sunsets etc.
