Flower of Scotland

Back to the poor weather that's dominated the summer here; unbelievably depressing - I've taken to shouting at the TV weatherman when he says the country's mostly had a glorious day (except for Scotland & Northern Ireland), as if he'd care or could do anything about it!

Had a lovely evening catching up with a friend who I shared a flat with many (many) years ago. He worked for the same company as me and is also embracing redundancy. After nearly two decades living in the Isle of Man, he's moving back to Scotland. Although we've always kept in touch, we reckon this is the first time in almost 10 years that we've actually seen each other face to face. Of course neither of us has aged a day!
