The Queens Beasts

One of the sculptures made by Tom Hiscocks from recycled and reclaimed materials that is on display in the garden of the Assembly House in Norwich until 27th August.

They are all of heraldic animals and birds and it seems that a major compenent of each sculpture is recycled beer cans which have been cut into strips. This creates a particularly striking effect on the bird sculptures.

If you have difficulty making it out, this is the head of one of the lion sculptures.
