Know your Onions !!

We went along to Turriff Agricultural show today
it's a big two day show, luckily it didn't rain as
promised, I took my wee canon point and shoot
lighter to carry, I got some shots of some funny
looking Texel sheep, but they weren't that clear
so I like the look of these onions, an old gardener
once told me to grow them this big you need to
add fresh blood !!! I don't fancy none o that, he
also said these biggies have little taste.
We have sea Ha'ar (mist) today but it's quite
mild. Oh and we got 68 bales from the field !!!
Large is worth a look
