Admiring the Daffodils

As you can see, the weather today was grey, wet and gloomy. My friend Priscilla and I made a quick visit to the Marlborough Cancer Society's amazing display of ceramic daffodils on the Taylor River Reserve. The actual blooms, which were made by our Marlborough school children, are enchanting. Priscilla was spoilt for choice and plans to return to the display at the weekend with daughter Bess. They are hoping they can find the daffodil that Bess created in order to buy it along with some others.
