Keeping an eye out.

Today unfortunately we have had almost non stop rain on the Central Coast which made my usual out and about photographic exploits impossible, and what was supposed to be my first Kayaking lesson was cancelled. Just when I was panicking my "friend" from yesterday came back with his own friend and they were perched on the telephone wire next door. They were obviously looking for a feed so I emptied the food dish of rainwater and filled it with seed, and the waited. Firstly they flew into the Jacaranda tree and made their first surveillance from there, and then with added confidence flew onto the food dish all the time cocking their heads and listening for the slightest sound. Even the clicking of my camera scared them off, but eventually I got a few decent photos. Hopefully tomorrow I will be able to get photos elsewhere.
