Progress.

Today I went with Mr Northern Town's mum to her monthly patchwork club. Everyone on our table was knitting or crocheting though, and I imposed upon Mildred to teach me to crochet. One slightly wonky granny square later, and she is so far the most successful of the four people who have attempted to teach me.
