Kiwi Weewee
My Dear Fellow,
It has been a full-on day. Jasper got dropped off at the vet this morning, then I had to rush out to have my NZ visa medical exam, then back home, then a taxi out to Portobello to pick up Jasper again from the surgery (the one in Stockbridge isn't open Wednesday afternoons and they forgot to mention it until after I'd dropped him off because life hates me).
He had 3 teeth out in the end, and seems a bit grumpy (but very hungry). I think he is now sleeping it off somewhere. I'll check on him in a moment, poor little man.
JASPER UPDATE: He's had a massive feed, a big purr, and now he's tucked up in his favourite box.
He has another check up on Friday (in Stockbridge) but then that's hopefully it.
My check up was fine - perfunctory but more importantly non-invasive (I'm sure you know EXACTLY what I mean by that). Today's blip is of the sink in the room where I was to give a sample. As you can see from the sign it is CLING-FILMED to prevent any sort of malarkey.
I'm not entirely sure WHAT malarkey, but it was unnecessary in my case. My weewee is entirely trustworthy.
But today's title reminded me of a Roger McGough poem you used to quote:
"To amuse emus on hot summer nights,
Kiwis do wee wees from spectacular heights."
Mine was not spectacular. Honest, but not spectacular.
Parsones
p.s. I've just realised. Two sink blips in a row. The most boring photo series ever.
