Too hot

Too hot today for much activity. I did some gardening early, and soon gave up - it has been hot and humid and difficult to stick at anything.
So I spent much of the day trying to work out my new embroidery kit. I have had to start with outlines, and these will eventually be filled with a variety of black work patterns - not in black thank goodness. The kit came with three separate complicated charts and requires considerable concentration. I don't think I have ever done as much unpicking! But I am determined to do it. I will show you again when it starts to get interesting!
