Start of the aurora season

A bit after midnight we went to see if forecasted aurora were visible. We saw some light ones, clouds disturbed the view. We didn't stay for long, I don't know did them got better later. One more aurora shot in the extras. By the way, it was almost same time last year when we saw the first aurora of the season.

It's Sami's 5th birthday today, but I agreed with Emma that we celebrate the occasion later when she's back home. Sami licked the empty bowl of whipped cream, that was his special treat today :)

Today was the nicest weather for awhile, sunny all day!
