Table in the woods

Three of us went for a walk in Blean Woods, thinking that a walk in dappled shade would be more enjoyable than one on more exposed paths on such a hot day. It was lovely, and we followed that with a pub lunch, which was also good. Making memories before younger son leaves the country for a while.
This table with its carvings was deep in the woods. The bird is an interesting feature, but why not?!
