Tea for one

Another glorious scorcher today, my friend and her children came this morning which was lovely to have a natter. Grandma was with us and was quite chipper too after last night.
After lunch the boy went to the girls Nextdoor for a play and I took Grandma to the hairdressers in Woodhall Spa. Popped into Archies for a cup of earl grey while I waited, then I sat at the war memorial and read my kindle in the hot sunshine.

After taking Grandma home I managed to hurt my eye when putting stuff in her recycling bin, was so sore straight away , hubby checked think all ok but a red lump. Feels like a scratch on upper eye lid.

watched bake off and my lovely friend and her mum arrived with two lambs of the edible variety! Yummy

Early night to rest my sore eye now will catch up on other blip journals tomorrow
