Heavy Horse

Another mixed day of sun and heavy showers.  Went to the Fort in Glasgow with E to the hobby shop and had a nice time browsing and also buying.  Off to a girls' night tonight in Rutherglen, always a highlight.

Andy Scott is a Scottish figurative sculptor in galvanised steel, fibreglass, and cast bronze. He is based in Maryhill, Glasgow, and specialises in public art. He graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1986 with a BA Hons in Fine Art Sculpture and in 1987 with a Diploma in Postgraduate Studies.

His Heavy Horse sculpture, on M8 Edinburgh to Glasgow motorway, is a well known landmark to motorists, and today, for the first time, I got the chance to photograph it.
