DIY with a difference (and a larger budget?)

These wonderful pattern books and fabric samples are in a room in Allan Bank. Allan Bank? A National Trust property in Grasmere which has connections with William Wordsworth and Canon Rawnsley. It has been owned by the Trust for some time but has only recently been opened to the public. It was damaged by fire a little while ago and this is giving a chance to redecorate...and a chance to redecorate gives a chance to get visitors' views on decorative choices!
