Talented Students

A couple of weeks ago our art teacher was asked if she had a couple of students who could paint some poppies on a wall at the RSA.  She thought we might be able to arrange that - and then was told that they needed it painted the very next day!

However, we have some pretty talented students and two of them put up their hands and said they'd give it a go.  Here is my version of the result (the original is in extras).  I think they did a great job of it - and they were able to gain credit towards an assessment on public art.

An all round good result.

In other news, we held our Twilight Gala tonight.  I was seriously impressed at how many people turned up - and spent generously.  What a great community we live in.
