Young And Lovely

We set out on the surprise birthday roadtrip for G's 30th birthday today. I was convinced he knew where we were going, but we got within 20miles of Margate before he worked it out. We had a look round the Turner Contemporary then met friends to start on the ales and fish n chips.

I'm not sure how many times I've seen Blur over the years... lots. It was a really hot and sweaty gig tonight and they played a really good selection of album tracks and slightly rarer songs. I could definitely do without seeing them playing the 'hits' again, but I don't think that would go down very well with the majority of the crowd. It was a really good gig though, complete with Coxon strop which is always a treat.
