Dark Red Helleborine

A quick change of plans today let a poorly feeling Mrs IttH have a lie in, and I did the dull work I'd have been doing tomorrow anyway.

By the time sleeping beauty arose I was turning boggle eyed in front of the pc so a little wander was called for - at the foot of the Bionnassay cliffs I found this little beauty - exceedingly rare in the UK but locally common in the right locations in the Alps. Another new tick for me and one to remember, a very beautiful orchid.
