"Yet Another Movie" from A Momentary Lapse Of Reason - 1987

The album was released the year before I saw Pink Floyd live for the last time. August 5th 1988 at Wembley Stadium with my wife. For some reason I still have the ticket in my wallet.

By 6.00pm I had no idea what my blip was to be. I had spent the day decorating and was, in a word, knackered with no energy and no imagination. I spied our collection of DVD's, linked it to a track and hey presto out of jail.

Some people have a huge collection of movies. I don't really "do" films, these belong to Jane. In fact the last time I was in a cinema was to see ET in 1982.
