Spires in the sky

I was in Vancouver for a few days. Walked to take pics of Christ Church cathedral but found it covered in scaffolding!!  A new roof being put on. So I wandered a little further afield to the Roman Catholic church at the corner of Dunsmuir and Richards.  Holy Rosary Cathedral. Spent a while taking photos from many angles. Braved the traffic and took some standing in the middle of the street.... carefully timed to stop light changes but still got a few honks!! What we do in search of the right shot. I loved these spires. This church has had the renovation that the Cathedral is undergoing. The bright blue sky reflecting in the metal covering and turning all a metallic blue/grey. Brilliant. Loved the two spires and the light was a real gift and then the bird!!
