'Mudeford and Christchurch'

Weather started hazier today and was a relief from the intense heat we've experienced all week. Lovely drive to Mudeford, through the New Forest, the pink purple Heather looking fabulous everywhere,

We had three hours at Mudeford..watching the hundreds of children crabbing off the Harbour and walking along the beach..out came the sun !


Off to Christchurch next. Visited Christchurch Priory ...very beautiful! The sun came out during the afternoon, then clouds, then rain! Didn't last long. We had a cup of tea at The Boat House then decided to take a boat trip. Well worth the price of the ticket...an hour and a half trip from Christchurch to Mudeford.....,wonderful scenery, real Swallows and Amazons countryside, sailing, paddle boarding, motorboats....a hive of activity.

Fish and chips this evening sitting by the Quayside...end to a perfect day...and the last day of our week in Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.
