Endless Blue Skies
When I got up this morning it was just changing from dark to light. That's rubbish. It's only been a week or so since we puts the clocks forward...
It was too hot today - over 30 when I left the office with mush for brains.
So I shall tell you the tale of Munnidini.
We went to bed and both cats were accounted for. We had windows open upstairs because it was so blimmen hot and we were hoping for a cooling breeze through the house.
I got up in the morning, got ready for work and left. The cats ignore me in the morning - way too early for them.
G got up later and went downstairs. Normally Munni is right behind her but not today. Oh no. She prepared breakfast for the cats and still no Munni. So she fed Moot and opened the terrace doors...
And then she heard Munni. Outside.
And Munni was outside. On the next door neighbour's first floor balcony.
So G ran upstairs to my study, opened the window and Munni ran across the roof in front of my study, into the house, straight downstairs, wolfed down her breakfast and then ran upstairs to crash on my bed.
She must have climbed out of a window in G's study (above mine) during the night and then jumped down on to the roof in front of my office and couldn't get back up.
Munni is fine and has no idea why both of us keep checking on her.
Windows are now on our evening checklist.
The Blip - it's near the bus stop and I really like it. It's too hot to hunt Blips.
