La Tour de Goa

I set off early before it got too hot to walk up to the signal tower. A friend who is visiting her elderly aunt and hasn't got a great deal to do wanted a bit of activity. We were going to walk the ridge but she is not used to mountain exercise and was out of breath when we reached the top so we shortened the walk. The views from the top are always worth the climb. The afternoon was spent in deep shade enjoying tea and cake with English friends. They suggested a B and B for our trip back so I cancelled the booking I had made and went with their recommendation.
