Heading home

I love this little run of cottages, so I just had to stop and take a pic today.  The other pic is a little further down the same road giving an idea of the steepness of the climb on one of my routes heading home  (uphill, remember).

Another utterly glorious day, made even better by taking the afternoon off!  I still had 11.5 days of annual leave remaining until the end of  December, so I thought I would tidy things up a bit and take some time for me while the weather was so lovely.  It gave me some time to pop to the shops to pick up a couple of gifts for mum's upcoming birthday.  

Simple pleasures, eh?
