Disappointed with her results she nonetheless did enough to ensure her place.
Joshua supposedly almost a year away from his GCSE exams was required to take some this year. After months of him stressing and worrying the look of pure joy on his face after he opened the envelope and read his science grade was a moment I'll cherish.
Now more hard work awaits them both over the next couple of years as they complete their educations.
