The accidental finding

The light on the Loch

We've had an easy day today, after the rushing around of previous days. Waited in for a woman to collect a fridge from my sister (she never turned up because she had gone to the wrong place) then CleanSteve and I popped into Oban to have lunch with Kate , that is my sister Kate, at a place called the Waterfront Fishouse. While we were there I had a deja vu moment and realised I had last been there about 40 years ago, with my granny, when it had been the Fishermen's Mission!

We had a great lunch, then Kate went off to meet a small boat that would take her to a bigger boat that she had to clean. I'm assuming it was a type of floating hotel. Steve drove me over the glen to see my McIntyre cousins, well, some of them. I spent a few happy hours there, and Kate' s daughter Jezzie played with her cousin, then Kate came back with some pallets she is using to build a firewood store, and we drove over the glen again, then she took herself and her son off to their next jobs, and I sat in the kitchen, bathed in sunlight, finishing my book. Clean Steve was asleep.

Anyway, this was the light on the loch when I finished reading. The tree has been cut down, so there is a lot more light in the house. The stumps look very bare, but soon there will be regrowth.

We leave tomorrow for our stately progress home.
