Wetherby Bridge
Another hectic day chez madwill.
The RAC arrived around 7:45 to look at our daughter's car which broke down yesterday outside our house!
At first the fault did not show it self but after a few minutes the 'Power Steering Fault' message reappeared and he hooked up his computer but it just showed 'Unknown Fault'!
He arranged to tow the car back to the garage where it was purchased in Doncaster and when our daughter phoned them they said they couldn't even look at it until Wednesday and had no courtesy cars available.
Initial 'googling' the problem looks as though the repairs may cost more than the car is worth - over £2000 repair. This on a 5 year old car is pretty diabolical.
This left her without transport to get to and from (night shift) work over the bank holiday weekend. So I finished up phoning our insurance company and adding her to the policy for Mrs madwill's car. The I had to reload all the stuff we took out of her own car into this one so she could get her and Jessica home.
We popped out for late lunch and then she went off home. For the next week I will have to chauffeur Mrs madwill about - she won't drive my car as it has too many electronic gizmos for her.
Anyway we went to Wetherby late this afternoon - and whilst Mrs madwill had her hair done I walked down to the river for this shot of the bridge.
