Finished!

Well very nearly. All of the actual building work is complete, the floor has been laid, the kitchen is complete apart from an extractor which we'll do at some point. The patio has been sorted, the skirting boards are on...

We just have to wait for the plaster to dry and then we can start to decorate.. doh! ;)

So what was supposed to take 6 weeks took 19. To be fair to the builder we were not going to have a new kitchen and they have laid well over 100 sqm of flooring (there is a lot you cannot see) and we have a patio which was not part of the deal.

I have yet to see the final bill but I'm very confident that the final bill for the building will be right on and the extras will be more or less what we are expecting. Right, just need to decide on the paint!!
