I saw this when I went to the library today.

A plaque informed me

This giant replica of an Olympic standard javelin measures 7m long x 90mm in diameter
and was thrown down from the Olympic Gods.

Well that seems very inconsiderate of the Olympic Gods, chucking big gold javelins about. They could have had someone's eye out. Not to mention someone's head off.
