Raindrops on Roses

Trying to be a bit more adventurous with settings on my camera, I have been playing with Aperture Priority.Previously I have used either the auto setting or one of the preset scene modes.  I have been having trouble doing good close up shots.  Kwdiane suggested using aperture priority but I always forget until it's too late, so I am determined to give it a go.  There are several yellow rose bushes in the garden, so I tried a couple of them.  This bloom is not as showy as the others, but I loved the way the raindrops show up more on this one.  I have included this very small snail balancing on the tip of a tall thin leave, as an extra.
