Bruised and Battered

This poor butterfly fluttered down in front of me whilst I was sitting in the garden. I thought that it was quite peculiar as these white butterflies don't tend to stay around long in our garden, let alone purposefully land in front of me. It was only afterwards that I realised that the poor thing was only four legged and antennae-less.
