Too much cake.

After work today we went for afternoon tea. There were supposed to be twelve of us going but three dropped out. When we had sat down and ordered drinks the man told us that as they had already made the food we would have to pay for the people that hadn't turned up (not great customer service). This meant they gave us five of these trays of cakes and six stands of scones meaning there were thirty scones for nine of us!
Quantity was definitely not quality on this occasion though. I have had much better afternoon teas (the tuna sweetcorn sandwiches tasted like cury) and the service really was terrible (we had to ask for plates, knifes and tea!). Once I left I headed to meet the family as they had all been to the cinema to watch the BFG. I had missed out on the film but joined them for pizza hut after. I am a fatty!
