The 12C Cathedral at Visby on Gotland
The first time I saw this enormous church in the UNESCO world heritage town surrounded by walls which seem to go on for ever, I was truly overwhelmed by its magnificent .Financed by German traders a 1000 years ago who wanted access to the Baltic .
