Achiltibuie - day 2

Lovely day today - went for a walk in the morning, then into Achiltibuie and then we decided to take the dogs to the beach in the afternoon. BIG mistake! The midges attacked us 2 minutes after we left the car, 5 minutes later we were back in the car on the way back to the cottage.

What we must have looked like trying to get away from the midges god only knows!! Never in all our time of coming up to Scotland, at various times of the year, have we encountered midges. Hopefully never again!
