Sewing in the sun

Late afternoon sun, and the temperature dropping slightly, was perfect for a sewing session on a seat that catches the last of the sunshine. Today I finished the lettering I am doing for the WI banner. Such a relief, I was beginning to weary of it.
I haven't been at leisure all day as the family are coming tomorrow, prior to George staying for a few days. "don't go to too much fuss" said d-i-l, so I haven't! Also, they are on a diet, so all the goodies I like to bake are off limits.
