Scottish Summer

To be fair, the weather has been pretty good actually.  It's been sun cream and midge spray, rather than raincoats for our time on Skye.

On Monday, Alan suggested that we can't visit Skye without doing the north part of the Island, so that's what we did today.  We're not outdoorsy people, so we checked out the Quiraing and the Old Man of Storr from the car, and the Kilt Rock Falls from the view point at the car park.  We are food people though, so we stopped at the Skye Pie Cafe for lunch.  Tasty pies, and I ordered more for the freezer.

After leaving the Island, we made a stop at a little cafe and food shop, then Eilean Donan Castle.  It's from the food shop I saw these guys.  The rain had been fine until just before we reached the mainland.
