Covered in Freckles

Today was lovely and Spring like after a light frost. I think it was about 16c, which is lovely for this time of year.

I was busy all afternoon with visitors so never got out for a walk which I would have loved to have done. While I was saying goodbye to one person the car started to shake. I didn't feel any thing on the pavement and the person inside come rushing out. There had been a earthquake. It wasn't a big one but bigger than what we have had for sometime.

This lovely Helleborus looks lovely in white with a touch of green and it's freckles. I will have to dig it up when it finishes flowering and take it over to Akaora.
