Take THAT!!!

This mamma swan was protecting her babies from a snapping turtle. I was surprised how much mud she kicked up because I think the water is pretty deep here. I know the turtles eat many cygnets when they are young but thank goodness these two are quite big now. I don't think it would be much fun to be attacked by a snapper from underneath!!
