Dancing River Sprite Feast.

Jane,  her daughter Claire (see extras) and I had a fabulous evening at George and Cora-Lee's feast.   The book this evening was Travels With My Aunt, by Graham Green.  It was, as always, a very rich and fun evening.  It was the first time Claire had experienced this unique eating establishment...and she loved it.   you do have to be a little bit brave because you just never know what you'll get served!   It was all wonderful, except for the first course which had a round squishy object....i tasted it and couldn't identify if at first....didn't like the texture or the taste!!!  could have been an eye ball for all i knew!  but no, it was just the yoke of a boiled egg, smoked and some other weird George like things done to it!   but apart from that, the rest of it was delicious!
