The theme for 2008's Xmas shopping trip will be...

Berets......
and real french 100% Laine berets at that.

Last year we all had scratchy scarves to wear in pink, purple and greens.
This year we could be easily picked out of the crowd by the bobbing berets. We only had one non conformist, but we'll break him next year. It was easy to find each other in the teaming crowds on Princes street in Edinburgh. We made a new festive attraction, especially in the restaurant for lunch. Two of us were even asked where we got them, but the south of France was a bit far to go to buy more.

What they were looking at? Well that's a whole different story.


It's amazing that I even made it after last nights shinanigans. Slightly tired tonight.
