Borders Railway

Trip today on a steam hauled train on the Borders Railway from Edinburgh to Tweedbank/Melrose. The engine was the "Royal Scot" - built in 1927 for the London Midland and Scottish Railway. The photo is a telephoto shot as the train rounded a fairly severe bend - I was not really leaning that far out from the window!!   Extra at Tweedbank Station
