............Sitting in the dark.............

Not a good day for me today.

Woke up at 4.00 to a downpour.............not a breath of wind...........the rain was falling straight down...............in bucket loads. I sat on the edge of the bed with the window open...just watching........... and listening......and thinking.

I got back to sleep.......and the cats woke me again at 6.00..........to bright sunshine.............which disappeared 8,00. It's been a still, grey overcast day until late this afternoon.

I haven't wanted to do anything.....and I've felt exhausted, quite ill and very down all day. Not even the Belgian Grand Prix with Hamilton finishing 3rd having been  relegated to the back of the grid for the start could spark some life into me.

Therese is back from Spain, she dropped in today to see the garden..........and me.......and we drank coffee and talked.

It's 8.41......I think I'm going to watch The Last Ship............maybe with a hot chocolate............and then have an early night.
