Lady Anstruther's Tower

This is the tower once belonging to Lady Janet Anstruther of Elie House. When she wanted to go bathing in the sea, which she liked to do nekkid, a bellman would walk through the streets warning local people to stay away. Of course, this only made people want to go down there for a closer look!

Second sea safari today (last one being in June) with our very knowledgeable and fun skipper. I even got to sit in the fun seats with him. Sadly no dolphins this time, but plenty of seals and a vast array of seabirds. Burgers from the BBQ afterwards at The Ship Inn accompanied by a Pimms, of course! Then off to St Andrews for a Nardini's ice cream and a walkabout. Lovely day.
