Olympic diving hopeful
Today we went for a typical Guernsey 'Dip and Dine' at a local hotel called Les Douvres. Sadly the weather failed us and although it was warm, it was overcast and drizzling. No matter when you're already in a pool! The food was delicious. I had a seafood risotto...yummy! Ben had ribs and they were literally melt in the mouth. I would heartily recommend eating there for any locals and visitors. We all had a lazy afternoon, drinking tea and looking for Darwin (tortoise.) It would appear he believes it to be autumn already, and he has disappeared! Still, I expect to see him wandering around the garden again tomorrow when the sun makes a welcome return. We have been so lucky with the weather for our visitors up until today. It's their last day tomorrow and it's going to be action packed. H has a day at surf camp. B and C are having a jamming session at my school as there is a drum kit there. The rest of us will be visiting the French markets and pottering a little in town, hopefully followed by lunch at the beach.....again! :-)
